Day Surgery Facility
Concord Hospital created the Day Surgery Facility to meet the growing demand for outpatient surgery, and followed with an expansion as the demand continued. The complex logistics for constructing the new day surgery facility included working directly above the hospital's 24-hour laboratory. Wrenn's team also had to deal with working adjacent to the existing operating suite's recovery area without disrupting patient care. As Wrenn's construction activities proceeded, continuous dialogue was required to maintain the cleanliness and daily traffic patterns of adjacent spaces and the continuous operation of mechanical services.
